“In our work and in our living, we must realise that difference is a reason for celebration and growth, rather than a reason for destruction.”
Interfaith events acknowledge all faith paths, and also welcome those who follow no particular path. You are all very welcome and I look forward to meeting you and I do hope that this year will bring you into connection with all that you need at this point in your lives.
Watch this space for upcoming interfaith events in 2024 and beyond. You might find events that are accessible online but I am also hoping to start offering simple opportunities to meet up and enjoy the beautiful Isle of Skye if you are passing by.
Isle of Skye
In 2024 I hope to create some Sacred Saunter events. I hope that we will be able to take some time to meet outdoors, to share some simple walks. On these gentle walks I hope that we can connect with the nature around us in a variety of ways – this could be anything from sharing poems and readings from spiritual and secular sources, getting our feet wet on the beach, simple meditations, and so on. It’s a space to find some relaxation and quiet time.
Basically bring yourself, your boots, (or flip flops depending on the weather!) and anything that you would like to share that connects us with the graceful spirituality in nature.
Watch this space for updates. These meet-ups will be free but donations would also be most welcome on the day.
St Mark's Church
Sunday 24th March 2024
I am very lucky that I am sometimes asked to take services at St Marks Unitarian Church in Edinburgh. This year I have been asked to take the service on Sunday, 24th March. I am not quite sure what I will be talking about as yet (!) but will let you know soon.
If you would like to, you could join from wherever you are live on zoom. Zoom links can be found on the St Marks webpage
and there you will also find information on all their other services – both in person and online.
